We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Business to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. Due to growth in the department, we are seeking an exceptional candidate with a background in finance, supply & procurement and/or business start-up who can teach across a range of business subjects.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences.
- To lead and devise appropriate assessments and assessment strategies and feedback to learners through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
- Deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed.
- Monitor students' progress to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Work effectively in a large cross-curricular team.
- Excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work with deadlines.
- Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies.
- Possess a degree in a relevant subject area.
- Possess a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
