We have an exciting opportunity for a Facility Cleaner to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Stephenson College. This opportunity is for enthusiastic and reliable facilities cleaners to join our friendly team of dedicated cleaning staff who take great pride in providing an excellent quality service to the College and its customers.
Excellent timekeeping, communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and independently are essential requirements. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage, but training opportunities are available. This role will be a year-round role, working Monday to Friday, 11am - 2pm. Some flexibility will be required as there may be occasional weekend work available.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- To undertake the cleaning of the College premises working in classrooms, offices, studios, corridors and stairways, bedrooms and student kitchens, sports and leisure facilities, toilets, showers, cafeterias and communal areas.
- To adopt safe working practices.
- Work in a team providing flexible service cover across all areas.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience of cleaning in a commercial and/or domestic environment.
- Experience of working unsupervised and using own initiative.
- Demonstrated understanding of Health and Safety requirements related to cleaning for example COSHH and Manual Handling.
