Responsibilities include:
- People Management: Provide leadership, supervision, appraisal support, and coordinate activities of junior and admin staff. Support student placements and participate in training.
- Clinical Practice: Plan and lead treatments, health education groups, and educate service users and carers about deficits affecting safety and independence.
- Resource Management: Assess and prescribe equipment, recommend adaptations, and ensure proper use and commissioning of equipment.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain professional standards, manage caseloads, document activities accurately, and communicate with external agencies.
- Service User Care: Respect diversity, provide education, conduct assessments, and facilitate discharge planning and follow-up services.
- Policy and Service Development: Lead projects, participate in audits, research, and contribute to service improvements.
- Other Responsibilities: Act as an ambassador, attend meetings, adhere to guidelines, and maintain CPD portfolio.
