We are a London-based media network building shows that cover food, sport, finance, law, technology, culture and lifestyle — all made for young people, by young people. We are looking for two Studio Techs per show — one to operate the Blackmagic switching desk and one to manage streaming and BTS capture.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and test all studio equipment before every recording — cameras, lighting, microphones, switching desk
- Operate the Blackmagic switching desk — cut between camera angles live during recording
- Monitor OBS throughout — keep the stream live, stable and clean
- Run Logic Pro for audio routing — set levels and monitor sound throughout
- Operate the Steam Deck and manage all live integrations
- Set up and monitor TikTok Live and TikTok Shop during recording sessions
- Capture BTS content on phone throughout recording — guests arriving, setup moments, behind-the-scenes
- Complete a full test recording before every session — watch it back and confirm quality
- Upload all raw footage to Google Drive on the same day as recording
Who You Are
- Comfortable with technology — cameras, streaming software and audio equipment
- Calm under pressure — if something goes wrong on a live recording day you fix it, you do not panic
- Detail-oriented — you notice when something looks or sounds wrong before anyone else does
- Familiar with OBS, Blackmagic equipment, Logic Pro or any streaming or camera software — or willing to learn fast
- Reliable and punctual — you arrive before anyone else and leave after everything is uploaded
- A team player — you communicate constantly with the Show Runner and the other Tech throughout the day
