Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend the majority of your time:
- Full account management responsibility, managing our lead grocery customers in Tesco and Asda, as well as having at least 1 direct report.
- Devise and deliver exceptional business plans with Tesco and Asda with full ownership of all P&L metrics, driving sales and profitability, ensuring sales are maximised at key trading periods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, handling all day-to-day account management responsibilities and ensuring issues are addressed promptly while maintaining and strengthening relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Drive availability of hero SKUs across all store formats, constantly identifying growth opportunities and using data and insights to capitalise on these.
- Successfully launch key NPD with strong distribution and supporting activation plans, aiming for top-class UROS from launch through the right mix of promotional activity, secondary display, POS, and online/in-store media support.
- Regularly report on account performance, sales achievements, and market insights to senior management.
- Support with ad hoc coaching and support for other more junior members of the commercial team.
- Work across all business functions: operations, finance, marketing, and customer service.
- Your role is pivotal in delivering our annual plans and longer-term NBF business strategy, making you a key figure within the NBF grocery team.

- Is likely an existing Senior National Account Manager or a highly ambitious and experienced National Account Manager looking to develop strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Has Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship).
- Holds a minimum education to Bachelor’s Degree level.
- Has established national account management experience within FMCG.
- Is numerate and data-led, with the ability to work with and interpret complex proposals and insights.
- Has a customer-first mindset.
- Is an excellent relationship builder with strong selling skills to win/influence buyers and internal teams.
- Is a cross-functional collaborator, accustomed to working across broader teams and functions.
- Is results-oriented with a proven record of delivering account/channel targets.
- Possesses excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Has a passion for health and well-being.
- Is a strong team player.
