Peter’s Yard is a growing sourdough bakery business that combines Swedish tradition with British craft and natural, quality ingredients to create hand-baked sourdough crackers. Founded in 2008 and acquired in 2022 by Lotus Bakeries, it is now listed in major retailers and independent farm shops. The company has ambitious growth plans to expand the business and build the brand across Grocery outlets, food service, and speciality stores.

We are looking for an Out-of-Home National Account Manager to join our high-performing team and help drive the next stage of growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Devising and delivering exceptional business plans with key Foodservice and Specialist customers.
  • Winning new business through Wholesalers and End-users.
  • Owning and managing P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts.
  • Building cross-functional relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Working with the Category Manager to deliver insights that drive significant business benefit.
  • Delivering visibility and penetration through effective marketing strategies.
  • Utilising customer systems to maximise sales.

You will likely be an existing National Account Manager with experience in the Foodservice & Specialist arena. Key requirements include:

  • Right-To-Work within the UK or valid visa for the duration of the contract.
  • Minimum Education to Bachelor’s Degree level.
  • Strong experience in the channel to support growth.
  • Results-driven with examples of strong business results.
  • Resilience and tenacity in challenging situations.
  • Analytical skills to provide relevant insights.
  • Great relationship-building skills.

Desirable attributes include a passion for food and online/digital sales experience. This is a full-time position at our offices in St Albans, with four days a week spent on-site.
