An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the fastest growing healthy snack company in the UK for a Grocery National Account Executive, supporting the Senior National Account Manager primarily on Sainsbury’s and Ocado. This role will report to the Senior National Account Manager with the potential to develop into a National Account Manager in the next 18-24 months.
Key focus areas of the role include:
- Assisting on Grocery accounts on a day-to-day basis, including supporting with new line listings and delivering the promotional plan.
- Working with supply chain to ensure all ranged stores have stock, highlighting and addressing gaps.
- Ensuring all products are correctly positioned and tagged online.
- Forecasting, EPOS & Invoice tracking using retailer systems (Connect, Together With, SkuTrak) and ongoing promotional review.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with supply and operations teams on customer forecasts, and with category and shopper marketing teams on range, distribution, display, and feature.
- Attending meetings with the SNAM and building a network of key contacts within the account base.
- Regularly visiting stores to ensure activity is happening and reviewing the competitor set.
- Working with the account lead and category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products.
You will support the Grocery team in delivering the annual plans while working across all business functions, including operations, finance, marketing, customer service, and NPD to achieve key Grocery targets. You’ll report into and work closely with one of our Grocery Senior National Account Managers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to join our Grocery sales team. The most important qualifications we seek are:
- Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship).
- Minimum Education to Bachelor’s Degree level.
- 2 years Account Management Experience dealing with FMCG buyers in either a Field Sales Executive role or Regional Account Manager.
- Results-oriented and able to deliver account/channel targets.
- Numerate, with an understanding of P&L’s and margins, and good attention to detail.
- Strong selling skills to win/influence buyers and internal teams.
- Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for health and well-being.
- Strong team player.
