Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Pressbrake Setter/Operator in the Cut, Bend & Machining Department to join us at our site in Norwich.
Summary: The role involves setting, operating, and programming a Press brake, to manufacture components for assemblies that are required for vehicle production, projects and special orders.
What You'll Do:
- Work within a clean workshop, with areas where people use CNC punch press, laser & forming equipment, making this a mandatory hearing protection zone.
- Work to a strict time schedule.
- Carry out additional tasks in other areas of the department, when required.
- Lifting & intricate or complex manipulation of materials & parts, there will be long periods spent standing at the workstation.
- The role could involve working unsociable hours.

Additional Information: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship. A level of physical activity will be required to carry out some tasks, for example, lifting, orientating and transporting parts within containers up to 20 KG on a regular basis & load tooling up to 20 KG.
