As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Materials Co-ordinator to join our dynamic Supply team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.

Summary: The Materials Co-ordinator plays a key role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of goods across Lotus production sites. This position supports smooth production flow by coordinating material receipt, storage, and delivery operations in line with business and safety standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Receive, off-load, and route goods safely and efficiently to the correct delivery location.
  • Verify deliveries against accompanying documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Move material within the factories as required for production linefeed.
  • Accurately locate material in designated storage or production areas.
  • Safely operate Fork Lift Trucks, High Bay Side Entry Lift Trucks, Tow Tugs, Lift Stackers, and Powered Pallet Trucks as required.
  • Conduct line counts, identify potential shortages, balance line stocks, and report shortfalls to the Material Control department.
  • Issue material from stores and coordinate dispatch of materials and bins for both Production and Project requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Safety Guidelines, including handling of Dangerous Goods.
  • Uphold safety standards for self and others at all times, ensuring proper care of equipment and materials.
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and maintain records in an orderly manner.

What you’ll bring:

Essential:

  • Experience in material handling and logistics operations.
  • Proficient in safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, LES, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and process accuracy.

Desirable:

  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling procedures.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift certification.

Additional Information: This role will be working from our site in Costessey, Norwich, Norfolk and will be on site 5 days per week. This role is temporary, for up to 12 weeks to support a project.
