As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller LAS to join our dynamic Finance team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.
Summary: This role will primarily be supporting the Sports Car Operations Finance Team in producing accurate and timely management information as to the financial performance of the assembly and manufacturing facilities at LAS.
What you'll do:
- Prepare the monthly management accounts including posting accruals, prepayments and undertaking variance analysis for the manufacturing operation at LAS.
- Prepare the analysis and reconciliation of parts sold, finished goods stock reconciliation and work in progress.
- Preparation of accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support in the annual budgeting and forecast process.
- Assist with the establishment of new effective reporting.
- Assist in the maintenance of the business processes and systems.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting & reporting desirable.
- SAP experience desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- A knowledge and interest in IT systems would be desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, with a numerical background.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proactive and positive approach to work; confident to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Confident in working in cross-functional teams.
