To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Warranty Manager in the Group Aftersales Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
Summary:
The Warranty Manager is responsible for the efficient analysis, assessment, and administration of warranty claims submitted by the Lotus European Dealer Network.
The role ensures that all claims are reviewed in line with company policies and procedures, with a focus on accuracy, fairness, and protecting the company from unjustified costs.
Working closely with the wider Aftersales, Quality, and Finance teams, the Warranty Manager plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the warranty process and supporting high levels of dealer satisfaction through professional, timely, and well-documented claim management.
What you\’ll do:
- Review, assess, and process warranty claims submitted by Dealers across the European market, ensuring compliance with Lotus warranty policy.
- Approve or reject claims based on supporting evidence, technical accuracy, and eligibility criteria.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to Dealers on claim outcomes, supporting documents, and procedural requirements.

- Ensure all claims are processed accurately and within agreed service levels, maintaining data integrity and traceability.
- Assist the Aftersales Director with analysis of claim trends, identifying potential product or process issues.
- Support warranty audit preparation and follow-up, ensuring all claim records are maintained to audit standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of warranty processes and systems.
- Assist in the coordination of service campaigns, recalls, and goodwill actions as required.

- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with the European Dealer Network.
- Communicate claim decisions clearly, providing constructive feedback and rationale.
- Collaborate internally with Quality and Technical teams to escalate recurring issues or potential product concerns
Functional Scope:
- Warranty claim assessment, validation, and administration for the European region.
- Management of the Warranty Team
Geographical Scope:
- Europe (direct oversight), with global collaboration with China and other Regional Distributors.
Budgetary Responsibility:
- Direct impact on warranty cost control and overall budget accuracy through correct claim adjudication.
Systems & Process:
- Input, update, and maintain warranty data within the Lotus Customer Management System (LCMS) and related systems.
Complexity:
- Independent claim decision-making authority within defined parameters; escalation to Warranty Manager for exceptional cases.
Essential:
- Strong understanding of automotive technical systems (ICE and BEV preferred).
- Proven experience within a warranty or service administration environment (OEM, importer, or dealer).
- Ability to interpret technical reports, repair orders, and supporting documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of consumer protection and warranty legislation in European markets.
- Proficient in data management systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable:
- Experience with Lotus Customer Management System (LCMS) or similar OEM warranty management platforms.
- Multilingual capability (e.g., French, German, Italian, or Spanish).
- Previous experience within a Premium or Performance Automotive Brand.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic reports, technical bulletins, and part return procedures.
- Understanding of lean process improvement or quality management principles

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time.
- Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
