Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Media Manager in the Group Marketing Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
Summary
The Media Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, optimisation, and governance of paid and owned media activity across key markets. The role focuses on delivering measurable business outcomes, with a strong emphasis on lead generation, conversion performance, cost efficiency, and brand consistency. You will lead full-funnel, omnichannel media activity spanning awareness through to conversion and retention, ensuring all activity is accurately tracked, insight-led, and aligned to both global and local marketing strategies. The role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to ensure consistent execution and continuous performance improvement across all markets. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
What you'll do
- Own the planning, execution, optimisation, and performance of paid media campaigns across key markets, ensuring delivery against lead generation, conversion, and efficiency KPIs.
- Develop and implement full-funnel, omnichannel media strategies aligned to campaign objectives (awareness, consideration, conversion, retention).
- Act as the primary point of contact for local media agencies, ensuring alignment with global strategy and effective local execution.
- Lead media planning processes, including KPI definition, channel strategy, audience segmentation, and budget allocation.
- Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, and tracking integrity (including UTMs, tagging, pixels, and attribution frameworks).
- Manage integration of paid media with CRM, email, lead nurturing, and retargeting activity to maximise lead quality and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with PR, content, and brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective amplification across paid and organic channels.
- Supervise organic social planning and ensure alignment with global communication calendars and campaign priorities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market intelligence to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end campaign delivery across creative, production, and media teams, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Analyse campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to improve ROI, lead quality, and conversion performance.
- Manage and reconcile media budgets across multiple markets, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and financial control.
- Maintain and develop integrated media reporting and presentation materials for stakeholders.
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication and alignment across all relevant teams and markets.
What you'll bring
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Significant experience in media planning and/or buying within a fast-paced, performance-driven marketing environment.
- Strong background across digital and traditional media channels, including search, social, programmatic, and CRM.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering performance-led campaigns focused on lead generation, conversion, and ROI.
- Experience working across multiple markets or within an international or matrix organisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and build strong partnerships.
- Experience managing external media agencies and driving accountability for performance delivery.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Fluent English required; additional language skills, particularly German, would be an advantage.

Additional Information
This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
