To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner Intern in the Group Finance Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
We are hiring a Finance Business Partner Intern to support our FBP team on daily finance actions for a US listed automotive company - Lotus Technology. The structured internship offers hands-on experience in invoice processing, supplier payments, and financial record-keeping, providing a strong start to a career in commercial sales and finance. The duration of this internship is 4 months. Full-time is preferred, but employment can be flexible for part-time.
What you'll do:
- Processing and matching supplier invoices
- Subcontractor invoices & payment notices
- Goods receipting
- Supplier & subcontractor statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier & subcontractor queries via telephone and email
- Dealing with project and site teams to resolve queries via telephone and email
- Overhead invoices processing and coding
- Supporting sales team on dealer invoices
- Posting payments applications on Corporate BPM system
- KPI reports

- Record transactional data.
- Use the organisation's standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods.
- Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
