Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a General Operative in the Assembly Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary: To assemble & fit component parts, to the required quality standard, using a variety of hand or power tools & related equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Meet daily quality & production targets, as set by the area Supervisor.
- Assemble quality finished engines and modules.
- Ensure documented processes are followed at all times.
- Work in a structured manner & complete tasks in the allocated time.
- Work within the flexible working patterns.
What You'll Bring:
- Willingness to learn new production techniques & processes.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to handle all parts & equipment with care & attention.
- Can work with minimum supervision.
Additional Information: This role will be working from our Hethel plant within our flexible working policy. Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship. Temporary on-going - up to 6 months - via one of our supporting agencies. Weekly pay £12.71 per hour + overtime.
