This role is a contract position for a duration of 6 months, supporting the cars side of the business in the technical management and maintenance of existing production lines, as well as the development and introduction of new processes and tooling to support new products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of tasks and work with various areas of the business, having a direct impact on the success of the assembly operation.
What you'll do:
- Creation of production processes, update assignments, and align to manufacturing build requirements.
- Study operations sequence, material flow, fixturing/tooling, and process documents/statements to improve line balancing, throughput, and efficient working procedures.
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
- Creation, development, and maintenance of Process Sheets from engineering released data.
- Production & Project support as required.
- Publish clear and concise information including all aspects of Man/Method/Machine (tooling)/Material to manufacturing.
- Co-ordinate with the Training department to ensure suitable
