Sales Manager job for one of the UK’s leading and multi-award-winning exhibition and publishing companies. You will be joining their lifestyle consumer portfolio, selling sponsorship, exhibition space and digital solutions. To be considered, you must come from an expo/event sales background with a passion for lifestyle brands.
Currently a team of just over 100, they have won multiple awards for their events, renowned for delivering exciting and engaging shows, attracting over 1m visitors every year. They entertain, inspire, inform, and connect with people and businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and fun team, supporting the successful delivery of their leading shows.
About the role:
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages and digital solutions for the portfolio
- Split between new business and account management/rebooks
- Manage weekly and monthly sales pipeline
- Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss updates, floorplan management, pipelines and forecasts
- Working to revenue targets across both exhibition and digital
- Lead generation through attendance of competitor events and online
- Create and present client proposals
- Communicate with sales, sponsorship, marketing, editorial, operations and show management
- Liaise with finance to ensure all contract deals are finalised
- Update CRM system and all related sales and event administration
- Attendance of all live shows in your portfolio
- Client account management from sale to post-event.
The ideal candidate:
- 4+ years’ experience in B2B Sales
- Must have experience in consumer exhibition/event sales
- Passion for lifestyle brands
- New business hunter and account manager
- Demonstrable track record of meeting revenue targets
- Highly organised
- Ability to attend events in your portfolio.
