Your Opportunity: Lotus Recruitment is expanding its team of self-employed Residential Care Workers to support a range of children's residential homes across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young people
  • Support the physical, emotional and behavioural needs of children in residential care
  • Build positive relationships and encourage independence and personal development
  • Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and complete shift handovers
  • Work collaboratively with permanent staff to ensure the highest standards of care

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working within a children's residential setting is essential
  • A caring, resilient and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different homes and teams
  • Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service preferred
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle preferred
