We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a successful and inclusive secondary school within a leading multi-academy trust.

The Role - Secondary Teaching Assistant

  • Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and confidence.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide tailored support for students with additional needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Help students develop independence, resilience and self-belief.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young people in a school, educational or mentoring setting.
  • A positive, patient and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable but not essential.
