Lotus Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Greenwich seeking an experienced School Administrator to join its busy and friendly office team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the school office, providing professional administrative support to staff, pupils and parents.
Key responsibilities
- Managing telephone calls, emails and general enquiries
- Welcoming visitors, parents and pupils
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases
- Supporting attendance and admissions administration
- Preparing letters, reports and other correspondence
- Assisting with general office duties and providing support to senior staff
- Handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous administrative experience within a school
- Experience using SIMS or Arbor
- Strong IT, communication and organisational skills
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner
- The ability to prioritise tasks within a busy school office
- An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
Previous school-based experience is preferred due to the systems and responsibilities involved.
