The Role - Learning Mentor / Teaching Assistant
- Support students both in and out of the classroom to help them engage with learning.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams to support student progress.
- We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people, either in schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, care or support settings.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young people overcome challenges and succeed.
