Teaching Assistant Opportunities Primary School – Merseyside
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Merseyside. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing and who wish to be part of a nurturing and supportive school community.
About the Role
- Support pupils in class, individually and in small groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND where appropriate
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, term time only
Working during core school hours (approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Part‑time roles or specific 1:1 support hours may be available depending on need
About You
- Is kind, patient and enthusiastic about working with children
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to helping every child succeed
- Has experience working with children or in a school environment (desirable but not essential)
