Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching and looking for a stable, fully supported route into the profession?

About the Opportunity

Successful candidates will begin by working within the school as a Graduate support / Teaching Assistant, gaining hands‑on classroom experience while learning from experienced teachers. From there, you will progress onto a fully funded teacher training programme, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This route is ideal for graduates who want to:

  • Build confidence in the classroom before training
  • Train to teach with strong, in‑school support
  • Benefit from long‑term career stability within a large trust
  • Access high‑quality professional development throughout their career

During your first phase in school, you will:

  • Support students in lessons, small groups and intervention sessions
  • Work closely with subject teachers, particularly in your degree specialism
  • Help students overcome learning barriers and build confidence
  • Gain valuable insight into lesson delivery, behaviour management and assessment
  • Be mentored by experienced staff as preparation for formal teacher training

Teacher Training & Development

Following your support role period, you will:

  • Progress onto a school‑funded teacher training programme
  • Receive ongoing mentoring, coaching and CPD
  • Train within the trust, offering continuity and familiarity
  • Have clear long‑term career prospects across trust schools

We are keen to hear from graduates who:

  • Hold a degree (Science graduates especially welcomed: Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • Are also open to strong graduates in English, Maths or other subjects
  • Are committed to working in education long term
  • Are resilient, motivated and positive role models
  • Want structured support rather than a rushed route into teaching

What’s on Offer

  • A clear, supported route into teaching
  • Funded teacher training
  • Long‑term stability within a large academy trust
  • High‑quality CPD and mentoring
  • The chance to make a real impact on young people’s lives

If you’re a graduate ready to commit to a long‑term career in teaching, starting with real school experience and progressing into fully funded training, we’d love to hear from you.

You MUST:
