Lotus Recruitment is recruiting Children’s Support Workers on behalf of a residential children’s setting that supports young people with emotional, behavioural and additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, resilient and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people within a safe and supportive residential environment.

The Role

  • Provide day‑to‑day care, guidance and emotional support to children and young people
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and structured environment
  • Support young people with daily routines, education, activities and appointments
  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence and life skills
  • Build trusting relationships with children and act as a positive role model
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow safeguarding procedures at all times

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • A caring, patient and flexible approach
  • Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
