Responsibilities:
- Allocate care workers to customer visits using effective rostering, ensuring continuity of care and taking into account locations, skills required and customer preferences.
- Take responsibility for new referrals from private customers and social services teams, ensuring full information is received and appropriate care planning is undertaken.
- Assist the Branch Manager with identifying further business opportunities outside of the current client base.
- Match care workers to customers, ensuring care workers are notified of all conditions relating to the assignment, including care worker’s rate of pay.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 months experience as a care coordinator in a domiciliary care setting (essential).
- Minimum 12 months domiciliary care experience within the last 3 years (essential).
- Level 3 NVQ in health and social care, working towards Level 4; if not, must be signed up on appointment (essential).
- PASS knowledge and CP knowledge (desirable).
- ICT knowledge (desirable).
- Understanding of the 5 Key Lines of Enquiry (desirable).
- Driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
- Working every other weekend (on‑call backup).
- Good IT, communication and office skills (essential).
