The role involves being responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of warehouse, material handling & 3PL integrated operations at the Lotus Hethel site. The Material Handling Operations Manager will achieve KPI targets related to health & safety, material availability, inventory accuracy and door-to-line delivery performance, executed through a culture of strong leadership, teamwork and commitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement & develop a material handling operations organisation that delivers the objectives of the Lotus organisation, in accordance with safety, cost and operational execution targets.
  • Develop, implement and execute processes that ensure consistent quality in material handling operational service levels.
  • Support the Lotus Production Operations in meeting build schedules with full material availability, at the right time, at the point‑of‑fit.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct layered process audits focused on safety, 5S and operational effectiveness (availability, productivity, quality).

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience as a warehouse/logistics senior manager in a fast‑paced operations environment.
  • Experience managing 3PL integrated relationships.
  • Strong people/performance management skills.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement & warehouse/logistics functional excellence.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
