Peter’s Yard is a growing sourdough bakery business that combines Swedish tradition with British craft and natural, quality ingredients to create its hand-baked sourdough products. The company was founded in 2008, acquired in 2022 by Lotus Bakeries, and is now listed in major retailers across the UK. The company has ambitious growth plans to expand the business and build the brand in the UK.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will execute brand strategies that significantly grow household penetration and help Peter’s Yard become the UK’s favourite Sourdough Bakery Brand. You will manage our communication, online community, and help build a brand that people love. This includes delivering engaging content, PR, advertising, and community activity to reach new consumers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consumer Activation: Lead and implement best-in-class consumer activation plans with evaluation.
- Owned Media, Influencers, Brand Partnerships & Community: Own all content development and community management.
- Product Management: Analyse portfolio performance and keep the brand proposition ahead of the competition.
- New Product Launches: Deliver yearly NPD launches with detailed go-to-market plans.
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Brand Manager who wants to join our fast-paced team and make a real difference. As Brand Manager, you will drive brand awareness and penetration, building strong relationships with our consumers.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship).
- Minimum Education to Bachelor’s Degree level.
- Min 2-3 years relevant Marketing experience in an FMCG business.
- Experience working in a brand team managing through-the-line campaigns.
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Experience of Owned Media Content development and working with influencers.
- Experience managing websites, ideally with WordPress, and using Google Analytics.
