Peters Yard is a growing sourdough bakery business that combines Swedish tradition with British craft and natural, quality ingredients to create hand-baked sourdough crackers. Founded in 2008 and acquired in 2022 by Lotus Bakeries, it is now listed in major retailers and has ambitious growth plans.

Peters Yard is looking for an Out-of-Home National Account Manager to join their high-performing team and help drive their next stage of growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Devising and delivering exceptional business plans with key Foodservice and Specialist customers.
  • Winning new business through wholesalers and end-users.
  • Owning and managing P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts.
  • Building cross-functional relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Working with the Category Manager to deliver insights that drive business benefit.
  • Delivering visibility and penetration through effective marketing strategies.
  • Utilising customer systems to maximise sales.

About You:

You will likely be an existing National Account Manager with experience in the Foodservice and Specialist arena. Key attributes include:

  • Right-to-work within the UK (without sponsorship).
  • Minimum education to Bachelor's degree level.
  • Strong experience in the channel to support growth.
  • Results-driven with examples of strong business results.
  • Resilience and tenacity in challenging situations.
  • Analytical skills to provide relevant insights.
  • Great relationship-building skills with a collaborative attitude.

It would be beneficial to have online and digital sales experience. This role is full-time at our offices in St Albans, with four days a week spent on-site.
