As Agile Delivery Manager, You will be responsible for leading and facilitating domain team Product Delivery. Collaboration is key to success in this role as you’ll work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to prioritise features, gather requirements, to create your domain Product Delivery roadmap. Champion agile practices, embed key delivery metrics, and work with the wider delivery team to drive process alignment and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
Agile Delivery Leadership:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, effective communication, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure teams are empowered to succeed, and deliver value.
- Coach and mentor team members, including Engineers and Product managers, on agile practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Analyse metrics and surface data that helps ensures Team health, performance, and engagement.
Agile Project Management:
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX and Engineering Managers to define project goals, scope, and priorities.
- Ensure teams have capacity for all work types, including Product, BAU and Technical initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering teams to develop and maintain metric-driven delivery roadmaps.
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, showing a strong bias for action to address issues and obstacles before they impact delivery.
- Regularly, and succinctly, communicate Delivery status to stakeholders.
Establishing a Data-Driven Culture:
- Ensure key delivery metrics and data-driven practices measure and improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
- Provide insights to stakeholders and teams to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with data teams to develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track and visualize delivery metrics for transparency and accountability.
Process Alignment and Continuous Improvement:
- Work with the wider delivery team to drive process alignment and standardisation across teams, ensuring consistency and efficiency in delivery practices.
- Facilitate process improvement workshops and retrospectives to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance the Team delivery process.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a bridge between Engineering and Product teams, facilitating effective communication and managing feedback loops.
Who you are:
- Proven experience working in Agile Delivery roles in fast-paced product technology companies.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the principles of agile product development.
- Excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, and be an agent for change.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Ability to see and share the Big Picture, using it to prioritise and assess impact of changes or delays.
