Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vulcaniser & Trainee Vulcaniser/Labourer based in Blackburn. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing vulcanising and industrial repairs, preparing and maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the team as required. The successful candidate will also assist in loading/unloading, cleaning, and organizing our workshop and belt stock, as well as gaining practical skills and knowledge in vulcanising techniques over time where required. Driving License is essential and competitive rates offered.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment.
- Willingness to learn and undertake training for vulcanising procedures.
- Driving License is essential.
- Time keeping and attendance.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks as required.
