The Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Assistant (EA) will play a pivotal role in enabling the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) including the CEO, COO, CFO, CIO and CRO to operate effectively, providing high-quality executive support and coordination and helping maintain focus and momentum on the organisation’s most important priorities. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, the EA will operate with a high degree of judgement, discretion and autonomy, connecting people and priorities across the organisation.

The key responsibilities will be:

  • Calendar and Schedule Management: Proactively manage complex executive calendars, coordinating meetings, appointments and events to ensure effective use of executive time and alignment with priorities.
  • Strategy Delivery: Support the SLT in translating organisational strategy and priorities into delivery, coordinating activity across the leadership team, monitoring progress against key commitments and helping to ensure actions, decisions and dependencies are progressed.
  • SLT Effectiveness: Support the effective operation of the SLT, ensuring meetings are purposeful, priorities are well coordinated, information flows effectively and decisions are captured and followed through.
  • Relationships and Communication: Build strong relationships across the organisation and with key external stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of connection for the SLT. Manage executive communications and correspondence as appropriate, ensuring matters are handled effectively and professionally.
  • Board and Executive Meeting Support: Prepare, review and coordinate high-quality reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials and other documentation to support Board, SLT and key stakeholder meetings.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive and confidential matters with a high degree of judgement, discretion and professionalism, recognising the trusted nature of the role and its access to senior leaders and information.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve executive and SLT ways of working, including processes, information flows, meeting effectiveness and administrative arrangements.
