Lothian DAF is looking to appoint a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team while managing and developing your own customer portfolio. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in vehicle sales within the commercial vehicle sector, along with excellent leadership capabilities. You will play a key role in supporting the team to achieve ambitious sales and financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental performance, including profit and loss, and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to consistently surpass targets.
  • Drive business growth by expanding your own accounts and those of your team.
  • Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar sales management role.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
  • Good knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry (experience with DAF is advantageous).
