Experienced HGV Driver Trainer
Lothian DAF is looking to hire an experienced HGV Driver Trainer at their Loanhead site.
Roles and responsibilities
- Delivering structured onboarding sessions and familiarisation drives for new DAF truck owners and fleet drivers.
- Teaching drivers how to use advanced tech, reduce fuel consumption, and lower CO2 emissions.
- Explaining and demonstrating safety features like adaptive cruise control, advanced emergency braking, and lane departure warnings
- Deliver product demonstrations to customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Holding a valid, appropriate heavy goods vehicle driving licence along with a Driver CPC card.
- Extensive background in commercial truck driving to build trust and put other professional drivers at ease.
- Ability to clearly explain technical specifications and safety mechanics to individuals or large fleet groups.
- A willingness to travel
