Overview
Rate of pay £15 per hour.
I am looking for Personal Assistants who are friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. They must be able to give me the space I need to continue developing but also guide me. Someone who is lively and fun, who loves music, singing and reading stories to others. A reliable, punctual and honest individual.
Responsibilities
- Support with daily personal needs, including diet support with full training.
- Assist with emotional regulation and support of an individual with autism or learning difficulties.
- Calibrate and apply enzyme therapy, calculating percentages confidently.
- Provide one-to-one support and maintain an open and honest relationship.
- Cover possible extra hours, evenings, and respite cover including overnight.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting people with autism or learning difficulties.
- Ability to support emotional dysregulation.
- Interest in alternative therapies beneficial.
- Member of the PVG scheme or willing to join.
- Reliable, punctual and honest.
Availability
Three nine‑hour shifts per week. The employer would prefer two personal assistants: one doing one shift per week and the other two shifts per week. Applications for a single nine‑hour shift are welcome. Working hours are 9‑hour shifts, with the possibility of extra hours some evenings and cover for respite including overnight. Day or days to be agreed. I live on the 44 bus route (EH8).
