Rate of pay £14.60 per hour. A kind, considerate, organised and caring young adult is looking for a fun Personal Assistant/Befriender near Linlithgow to support with daily activities inside and outside the home.
Responsibilities
- Support with daily activities inside and outside the home, including activities such as shopping, baking, taking public transport, swimming, running, and going to the cinema.
- Adapt to changes calmly as the young adult can become anxious when things change suddenly.
- Carry out shifts as agreed, typically one six-hour shift per week on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, with occasional two shifts lasting three hours each. Some flexibility required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
- Non-smoker, dog friendly, with experience/understanding of epilepsy care and first aid.
- Experience in care is helpful but not essential.
- Due to rural location, must have access to own transport and a full UK driving licence.
