Rate of pay £15 per hour. We are looking for a Personal Assistant for a happy, affectionate and energetic seven‑year‑old non‑verbal girl with autism who lives in Gorebridge.
Duties will include:
- Helping the young person to go out and play or play safely at home
- Providing some personal care
It is preferable that the postholder has experience supporting young children with autism. It is essential that the postholder is a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
A shift will last two hours and include the Personal Assistant picking up the child from school around 3.15pm. There will be a minimum of two shifts per week, on a Tuesday and Wednesday. There may be opportunities for further shifts outside school hours.
