Overview
Rate of pay £15 per hour.
I am looking for Personal Assistants who are friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. They must be able to give me the space I need to continue developing but also guide me. Someone who is lively and fun, who loves music, singing and reading stories to others. A reliable, punctual and honest individual.
Responsibilities
Support with daily personal needs, including diet support with full training.
Assist with emotional regulation and support of an individual with autism or learning difficulties.
Calibrate and apply enzyme therapy, calculating percentages confidently.
Provide one-to-one support and maintain an open and honest relationship.
Cover possible extra hours, evenings, and respite cover including overnight.
Qualifications
Experience supporting people with autism or learning difficulties.
Ability to support emotional dysregulation.
Interest in alternative therapies beneficial.
Member of the PVG scheme or willing to join.
Reliable, punctual and honest.
Availability
Three nine‐hour shifts per week. The employer would prefer two personal assistants: one doing one shift per week and the other two shifts per week. Applications for a single nine‐hour shift are welcome. Working hours are 9‐hour shifts, with the possibility of extra hours some evenings and cover for respite including overnight. Day or days to be agreed. I live on the 44 bus route (EH8).
