Job Ref MF WN EL, Male (*GOR) Support worker required in Dunbar, East Lothian
This role involves supporting a 37 year old man who is on the autistic spectrum with some learning difficulties. He currently experiences low mood and social isolation. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's daily life. You will provide one-to-one support tailored to his needs, interests and goals.
Key Responsibilities: Encourage independence and support personal development. Assist with daily living tasks and routines. Accompany him on walks, outings and occasional day trips. Help build confidence and reduce social isolation. Encourage and support the use of public transport to build independent travel skills.
