About this Role
Lostock Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Senior Clerical Assistant.
- Salary: Grade C, Scale Point 4-6 (£25,185 - £25,989) pro rata
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week, term-time only
- Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Contract: Permanent
- Required for: 1st September 2026
The successful candidate will:
- Have knowledge and experience of information technology such as Microsoft Office; a good working knowledge of Bromcom is desirable
- Be able to work effectively under pressure in a very busy main office with frequent interruptions
- Have excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- Have experience in a wide range of administration and financial procedures
- Be able to manage multiple priorities under pressure, by forward planning and prioritising own workload to meet strict deadlines
- Have experience of handling sensitive and confidential material
- Have a professional and approachable character, being the first point of contact for all the school’s stakeholders
