We wish to appoint an outstanding L3 Teaching Assistant with the passion and experience to lead interventions helping to raise numeracy standards and close the gaps between SEND and non-SEND students. You will join our highly regarded SEND team providing support for students with special educational needs throughout their curriculum experience. The SEND department is dynamic and forward thinking, and eager to see pupils succeed. We have a high proportion of children with additional needs and need a determined ambassador for these young people and their families.
This role is ideal for applicants who have already achieved their L3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent) however we offer the opportunity for the required qualification to be gained in post via the Apprenticeship Levy scheme. We are looking for commitment to improving life chances for young people, as well as commitment to your own professional development.
You will be well supported by the SENDCo, Head of Departments and Senior Leadership Team who are focused on teaching and learning, and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met.
