Lost Shore is one of the UK’s most exciting new destinations — a surf resort just outside Edinburgh built around Europe’s largest inland surfing lagoon. Alongside surfing, accommodation, food, wellness and events, we’re building a distinctive brand around surfing, adventure and outdoor lifestyle. Now we want to take our retail business online.

This is a chance to join Lost Shore at an exciting stage of its development and have a genuine influence on how the brand and retail business evolve. We have a strong physical retail operation, a growing customer base and a huge amount of content, experiences and events to build around. The ambition is to develop online retail into a £600k+ annual revenue channel, with plenty of scope to grow beyond that. You’ll have the freedom to test ideas, launch products, work with exciting brands and creators, and help shape what Lost Shore looks like online. If you're excited by e-commerce, brands, surfing and building something from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role: We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded E-Commerce & Digital Retail Manager to take ownership of our online retail operation and help build it into a significant part of the Lost Shore business. This is a hands-on role with genuine responsibility. You’ll manage and develop our Shopify store, improve the customer journey, grow online sales and help shape the product range and digital retail strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to build something rather than simply maintain an established e-commerce operation.

What you'll do:

  • Managing and growing the Lost Shore Shopify store
  • Developing and improving our online product range
  • Managing product listings, collections, merchandising and promotions
  • Planning and delivering online product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Working with our marketing team across Meta, Google, email, SEO and content
  • Developing CRM and email activity to drive repeat purchases
  • Using sales and customer data to improve conversion, average order value and margin
  • Developing Lost Shore branded products, collaborations and limited-edition collections
  • Creating opportunities around our events, athletes and wider Lost Shore community
  • Working closely with our Retail manager to connect online and in-resort retail
  • Helping ensure stock, fulfilment, delivery and customer service work smoothly as the online business grows

Qualifications: You don't need to have spent 10 years running e-commerce teams. We're looking for someone who is commercial, curious, energetic and keen to build. You’ll ideally have some experience in:

  • Shopify or another e-commerce platform
  • Online retail or digital marketing
  • Email/CRM
  • Social media and digital campaigns
  • Using data to understand and improve performance

You might already be working in e-commerce, digital marketing, retail or a related role and be ready to take the next step. Experience or a genuine interest in surf, outdoor, fashion, sport or lifestyle brands would be a big plus. Most importantly, you're someone who sees an opportunity and gets stuck in.
