We're looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy General Manager to work alongside our General Manager. You'll help lead an exceptional team and keep building The Lost Boy's reputation as one of the best places in Farnham to eat, drink and stay.

Being a Deputy General Manager at Upham Inns is about making everyone feel welcome, guests and team alike.
Working closely with the General Manager, you'll help look after the whole guest journey, from the first booking to the final goodbye. You'll lead from the front on shift, run the pub with confidence when the GM is away, and help create a place where people feel instantly at home. That means seriously good food and expertly made drinks, served by a friendly, confident and knowledgeable team.
Whether guests are joining us for a quick drink after work, catching up with friends or celebrating a special family occasion, your role is to help make The Lost Boy their favourite escape.
You'll be free to bring your own ideas, energy and personality to the business. You'll have the backing of a supportive General Manager and an experienced, hands‑on operations team, along with the development you need to grow into a General Manager role.

Deputy Manager Requirements:
- Solid experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading and delivering is essential
- Restaurant/Hospitality experience is essential
- a track record of leading teams to success
- Strong financial skills and be able to comfortably manage all audits and due diligence
