Role Description
This is a full-time, 4 on 4 off on-site role based in Greater London for an experienced Shift Engineer. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning to the highest standards. Daily tasks include:
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Responding to repair requests
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Assisting with hotel renovation or technical projects to enhance the guest experience
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with experience in troubleshooting and maintenance
- Practical skills for facility management, including equipment and control systems maintenance
- Ability to conduct routine inspections and manage preventative maintenance programs effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in a luxury hospitality or similar environment is highly desirable
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering or building maintenance are advantageous
