L’oscar London is an exclusive luxury hotel set in a beautifully restored historic building, originally the Baptist Church headquarters. Designed by renowned French architect Jacques Garcia, the hotel boasts elegant French-inspired decor within a classical British architectural setting. With 39 luxurious rooms, including 18 suites, the property is home to the opulent L’oscar Restaurant, the iconic Baptist Bar, and unique spaces for meetings and events. The hotel offers an ideal luxurious escape in the heart of London.

The Housekeeping Supervisor assists in leading the housekeeping department to achieve and exceed company service standards and operate within the agreed budget. They will oversee smooth and efficient operations within the Housekeeping department and run the department in absence of the Head Housekeeper. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Supervisor contributes to guest comfort and ensures the upkeep and cleanliness of the whole hotel. A successful candidate will be expected to maintain attention to detail and commitment to excellence to reflect the five-star standards of L’oscar London.

Objectives & Goals

  • To assist the Head Housekeeper in providing comprehensive guidance and support to different sections in the Housekeeping team which include laundry, linen room, public areas, and the room’s team to ensure the highest standards are delivered during cleaning and servicing of both internal and external guests.
  • To ensure that all Room Attendants work align with the hotel room service standard and their performance leads to achieving the department’s goals and hotel’s values and vision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in 5* Hotel
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Knowledge of basic Health and Safety guidelines
  • Flexibility needed due to the requirements of the business
  • Will be required to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
