Designed by renowned architect Jacques Garcia, the hotel's Baroque-inspired interiors combine elegant French design with historic British charm. Featuring 39 richly-styled bedrooms, including 18 suites, the property also offers the exquisite L'oscar Restaurant, the opulent Baptist Bar, and a variety of event spaces for both intimate and larger gatherings. This theatrical and sophisticated setting provides a unique and indulgent experience in the heart of the city.
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Duty Manager based at L'oscar London in Greater London. The role involves supporting the Director of Front of House in overseeing Front Office operations, including Reception, Concierge, and Reservations, ensuring excellence across all key service areas.
The Duty Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Key duties include:
- Supervising team members
- Addressing guest enquiries and resolving concerns
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all departments while upholding the high standards expected of a luxury hotel brand
- Assisting with team training and development
- Managing staff scheduling
- Acting as the primary point of contact for any emergencies or operational challenges
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on attention to detail
- Experience managing operations and coordinating across multiple departments
