Los Mochis City is seeking a dedicated and skilled Night Prep Chef to join our world-class kitchen team. Located on the rooftop of 100 Liverpool Street, our flagship venue offers a stunning 14,000 sq ft dining space with a 3,000 sq ft terrace overlooking the City skyline. As a Night Prep Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring all ingredients, components, and mise en place are perfectly prepared for the following day’s service.

The Role

As a Night Prep Chef, you will work closely with the senior kitchen team to prepare high-quality ingredients and components overnight, ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked, organised, and ready for service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in precision, consistency, and preparation excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing vegetables, proteins, sauces, stocks, and garnishes according to specifications
  • Completing mise en place to support all kitchen sections for the next day’s service
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
  • Following recipes and prep lists accurately and efficiently
  • Storing ingredients correctly and labelling in line with HACCP procedures
  • Supporting stock rotation and minimising waste
  • Communicating effectively with senior chefs regarding prep levels and shortages

Requirements & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Prep Chef or Commis/Demi Chef in a high-quality kitchen
  • Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently overnight
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
