Los Mochis Notting Hill is seeking an outstanding Reception Manager to lead our front door experience at our award-winning restaurant in the heart of Notting Hill. As Reception Manager, you will oversee the reception team and play a key role in shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment and understands the importance of first impressions, guest flow, and exceptional hospitality. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day reception operation
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience from arrival through to departure
  • Maximise covers and seating allocations while maintaining smooth guest flow
  • Work closely with the floor team to coordinate seamless door-to-table operations
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop the reception team
  • Drive high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues confidently and professionally
  • Support reservations management and optimise table planning
  • Maintain strong communication across all front-of-house departments
  • Lead by example with a hands-on and proactive approach

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Assistant Reception Manager within a high-volume premium restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Experience using reservation systems such as OpenTable or SevenRooms preferred
  • A positive personality and genuine love for working with people
