Los Mochis Notting Hill is seeking an outstanding Reception Manager to lead our front door experience at our award-winning restaurant in the heart of Notting Hill. As Reception Manager, you will oversee the reception team and play a key role in shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment and understands the importance of first impressions, guest flow, and exceptional hospitality. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day reception operation
- Ensure exceptional guest experience from arrival through to departure
- Maximise covers and seating allocations while maintaining smooth guest flow
- Work closely with the floor team to coordinate seamless door-to-table operations
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop the reception team
- Drive high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues confidently and professionally
- Support reservations management and optimise table planning
- Maintain strong communication across all front-of-house departments
- Lead by example with a hands-on and proactive approach
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Assistant Reception Manager within a high-volume premium restaurant
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Experience using reservation systems such as OpenTable or SevenRooms preferred
- A positive personality and genuine love for working with people
