As a Night Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team during evening service, helping maintain exceptional standards of quality, organisation, and consistency within your section. You will assist the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes during evening and late-night service. You will play an important role in maintaining the smooth operation of your section while continuing to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. This role is ideal for a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie looking to strengthen their skills, gain more responsibility, and grow within a fast-growing and ambitious restaurant group.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in running your section during evening and late-night service
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest brand standards
  • Maintain excellent mise en place, organisation, and cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Follow strict food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards
  • Support senior chefs in maintaining smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Help monitor stock levels and reduce food waste
  • Assist in training and supporting junior team members where required
  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and food rotation
  • Contribute ideas and maintain enthusiasm for learning and development
  • Ensure a clean and organised station ready for the following day's service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
  • Good technical cooking skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently during busy evening service
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen environment
  • Experience with Japanese or Latin American cuisine is beneficial but not essential
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
