We are partnered with a high-growth, UK-wide infrastructure business who require a Finance Manager to strengthen its financial governance, reporting, and control environment. This role is ideal for a Chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a strong grounding in audit, compliance, and financial controls. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting Control: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. Maintain and enhance the financial control framework, embedding best-practice governance across the finance function. Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation. Manage statutory reporting requirements and support year-end processes.
  • Audit, Compliance Risk: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit cycles and high-quality submissions. Strengthen internal controls, identifying gaps and implementing improvements across financial processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory obligations, and internal policies. Support risk management activities, including financial risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Process Improvement Systems: Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls, and reporting.
