We are partnered with a fast growing Telecommunications business who have a high-impact interim opportunity for an experienced senior finance leader to take ownership of Group FP&A during a critical period of transformation and growth. This role requires a confident operator who can provide clarity, challenge, and strategic insight across a complex, multi-entity organisation with global reach.
You will lead the Group FP&A function, acting as the central point for financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and executive-level reporting. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can quickly build credibility with senior stakeholders, and is comfortable shaping the narrative behind the numbers.
The successful interim will ensure continuity of leadership, maintain high-quality output, and strengthen the FP&A framework while the permanent Head of Group FP&A is on maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the Group FP&A team, ensuring timely, accurate and insightful reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
- Own the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles.
- Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making across commercial, operational and investment activities.
- Drive performance reviews across business units, challenging assumptions and highlighting risks, opportunities and trends.
- Enhance financial models, dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and control.
- Partner closely with Group Finance, Commercial, Strategy and Operations to align financial plans with business priorities.
- Present clear, concise financial narratives to senior stakeholders, ensuring complex data is translated into actionable insight.
- Maintain and strengthen FP&A governance, processes and controls during the maternity cover period.
To be considered for this role it is essential you will need to have the following:
- Proven experience leading FP&A at group level within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect financial performance to commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at Executive and Board level.
