Join the LOROS Retail team and play a vital role in raising funds that support compassionate hospice care for terminally ill patients and provide support for their families and carers across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Area Manager and provide management cover across our network of 29 charity shops, stepping in wherever you're needed.
- Lead a range of shops, from busy high street stores to specialist shops, help teams achieve ambitious sales targets, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
- Inspire and lead both paid colleagues and volunteers; maximise sales, drive stock generation and merchandising.
- Make decisions confidently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and manage your own diary to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of people.
- Flexibility, resilience and a passion for retail are essential.
- Access to own vehicle; the role involves travel to provide management cover across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Mileage and business expenses will be reimbursed.
